The completed portrait remained hidden until his retirement celebration, where it was unveiled before family, friends, and colleagues, allowing him to experience it for the first time alongside those who had gathered to honor his remarkable career.

Today, the portrait hangs permanently in the Arlington County Courthouse in Arlington, Virginia, serving as a lasting tribute to Judge Newman's years of service and his enduring contribution to the Arlington community.

 

It stands not only as a likeness of the man, but as a reflection of the respect and gratitude earned through a lifetime devoted to the law.
